Automated Car Wash

CECE, Inc. worked with Dooley Mack to add an automated Car Wash to an exisiting manual car wash facility.  The system is an enclosed car wash allowing for automated washes.  CECE, Inc. installed a new service to accomodate the new equiment being installed as well as powered the new machine.

AVIM AH-64 Hangar

The FY-11 AVIM AH-64 Hanger is a modified standard design Aviation Maintenance Facility with supporting shop, parts storage, avionics, administrative, restrooms, break, training and conference facilities. This project includes the construction of a 132,000 square foot standalone maintenance facility to service rotary wing aircraft with 16 maintenance bays, a taxiway connector to the existing ramp, and an aircraft parking apron. The hangar will contain maintenance bays equipped with overhead bridge cranes, fire alarm/suppression systems; Ground Service Equipment (GSE) covered parking and integrated mechanical support systems. Project will include building information systems, connection to Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (ECMS), and installation of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).

Comanche Training Facility

Comanche training facility is based around the U.S. Army RAH-66 attack helicopter. The 89,000 square foot facility houses 3 flight simulators, numerous offices and 12 classrooms with computer aided training devices. The facility has sections of medium and high level security, which consist of cameras, alarms and controlled entry / exit for all training areas.

McCreary County KY Federal Prison

 

Design build project to construct a new 1100 man medium security prison and work camp.  The project included furnishing and installing 15KV incoming switchgear with a double loop primary feeder system and isolation switches around the entire facility.  Additionally, we furnished and installed three 2000KW, 15KV emergency generators and the associated 15KV paralleling switchgear.  We also provided and installed the conduit system, copper cables and fiber optic cables throughout the facility for the security, telephone, fire alarm, CCTV and MATV systems.  This project was completed on budget and two months ahead of schedule.

Panama City - Bay County International Airport Paving and Lighting

Construct a 10,000 ft runway and a 5,000 ft cross-winds runway for the new Panama City/Bay County International Airport. This work consists of installing all runway (144) and taxiway (803) lights, directional signs (112), approach lighting system, power equipment including generator, and the lighting control system. The lighting system was installed utilizing 5KV cable.

Repair Hangar 40117

Design Build Repair Hangar 40117 at Fort Rucker, AL. This project consists of repairs and upgrades to the existing 28,000 square foot aircraft hangar at Fort Rucker, AL. including new electrical components meeting LEED Silver standards for power distribution, lighting, lighting control, fire detection, communication systems and security systems. Construction will be phased in order to facilitate AFS Blackhawk mission to continue while upgrades are completed.

Test Operations Control Center

Test Operations and Control Facility controls all manned and unmanned launches for NASA at Kennedy Space Center. We installed a Double-ended 15KV substation with automatic transfer to provide power for the facility. In addition we installed a UPS System complete with battery backup to provide critical power for all computers and other mission-critical controls and power equipment during the launch sequence. We also installed a complete premise wiring system with in the 200,000 square foot facility consisting of high speed data, low speed data, broad band communication system and telephones.

Training Aid Support Center

 $3.5 Million project located at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The scope of work for this project consists of construction of a standard design Training Aids Center (TAC) to include administration, fabrication, maintenance, and storage space for Army and local training devices, installation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), connection to Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS), and building information systems. This project will be constructed to meet LEED Silver requirments and be registered as such.

Vehicle Maintenance Instructional Facility

CECE, Inc. did the electrical design for this project.  This project is to provide a Vehicle Maintenance Instruction Facility for the U.S. Army. This project type is to provide facilities for the purpose of large item operation, tracked and wheeled vehicle maintenance instruction and repair hands on training, complete with sensitive item storage, instruction classrooms, and administrative offices. This facility is a training facility housing 500 students and (80) 63A/USMC Instructors, (32) Master Gunner/Tank Commander instructors and (20) BOLC instructors.  CECE, Inc. developed the 30VDC, 3,000A system installed in the facility to allow the tanks to start.

Walton County Justice Facilitty

Furnish and install the electrical system for a new Justice Center, which includes a 34,000 square foot Jail, a 30,000 sq. ft. Administration Building, a 25,000 sq. ft. Sheriff’s Office, as well as, all required site work including site lighting. This is a design/build project and we are working closely with the Architect and the Electrical Engineering firm to ensure the best project for the money. While this project encompasses all types of low-voltage systems, there is a systems contractor on this project. Our responsibilities for the systems are to coordinate with the systems contractor to install the correct size of raceways, boxes, etc. to ensure that the systems function correctly.

Yazoo City Federal Correctional Insitution

Our work included both the Design & Electrical Construction for the entire electrical system and Security Systems including CCTV, MATV, Fire Alarm, Paging, fiber optic interfaces, control consoles and door lock systems to provide housing for 1100 prisoners.  The electrical systems included 15KV Incoming Service Switchgear, 12-15KV Selector Switches & Power Transformers, a double loop 15KV primary distribution system around the site including manholes and concrete encased duct banks.  The outdoor lighting system included furnishing and installing 16-100ft high mast poles and 160-1000 watt fixtures.  This is the first and to date only facility of its type to have had the entire Division 17 Security Systems installed, tested and accepted by the FBOP on or before the scheduled date.
