AG Processing Coal Fired Boiler

The Coal Fired Boiler addition is a 27,800 square foot, 206 foot tall boiler house with adjoining bag house, coal crusher house, coal silo and ash silo. CECE has the primary responsibility for the total electrical installation and responsibility for the installation of the instrumentation raceway and wire. The electrical components include a 2,000KVA transformer, a 3,750KVA transformer, a 600KW diesel generator, three 480-volt Motor Control Centers, one 4,160-volt Motor Control Center, assorted small dry type transformers, distribution panels, power feeders to two 1,000HP, 4,160-volt motors, power feeders to numerous 480-volt motors, all plant lighting, and power feeders to numerous other items of peripheral equipment.

Auburn Wellness and Recreation Center

The new Recreation and Wellness Center project located at Auburn University, will provide approximately 240,000 sqft of recreational spaces for Auburn students and faculty and staff to use in their pursuit of a healthier lifestyle. The proximity of the new facility creates a direct link to the new Student Village Housing and the existing Intramural Fields. This location also provides a convenient relationship to the Martin Aquatics Center and existing tennis courts.  The $50,000,000 facility was designed by 360 Architectureand is exptected to be completed in April of 2013.  Robins & Morton will perform the construction management for the duration of the project.

Automated Car Wash

CECE, Inc. worked with Dooley Mack to add an automated Car Wash to an exisiting manual car wash facility.  The system is an enclosed car wash allowing for automated washes.  CECE, Inc. installed a new service to accomodate the new equiment being installed as well as powered the new machine.

AVIM AH-64 Hangar

The FY-11 AVIM AH-64 Hanger is a modified standard design Aviation Maintenance Facility with supporting shop, parts storage, avionics, administrative, restrooms, break, training and conference facilities. This project includes the construction of a 132,000 square foot standalone maintenance facility to service rotary wing aircraft with 16 maintenance bays, a taxiway connector to the existing ramp, and an aircraft parking apron. The hangar will contain maintenance bays equipped with overhead bridge cranes, fire alarm/suppression systems; Ground Service Equipment (GSE) covered parking and integrated mechanical support systems. Project will include building information systems, connection to Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (ECMS), and installation of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).

The BamaJam Farms Water Park is an addition to the BamaJam farms providing fun for the entire family.  Multiple water slides into the water, Granny's Clothes Line offers the individual the ability to ride a zip line above the pool and drop in.  Rope swings around the edge and a Pirate ship for the kids.  The Pavilion in close proximity offers food and drinks as well as a stage for performances.

Comanche Training Facility

Comanche training facility is based around the U.S. Army RAH-66 attack helicopter. The 89,000 square foot facility houses 3 flight simulators, numerous offices and 12 classrooms with computer aided training devices. The facility has sections of medium and high level security, which consist of cameras, alarms and controlled entry / exit for all training areas.

Country Crossing - Amphitheater

CECE, Inc. constructed a 4500 seat outdoor Amphitheater, including stage, lighting, lighting control system, 2 separate concessions stands each with a full kitchen, ticket booth, merchandise store, and separate 40 stall restrooms. There are three 1,000 amp electrical services and back stage area with accommodations for 3 tour buses. The amphitheater was constructed in 45 days.

Enterprise High School

Enterprise High School is a 450,000 square ft new construction project. The electrical work on the Enterprise High School involves complete lighting and auxiliary systems for academic building, auditorium, gymnasiums, choral and band, kitchen/dining shops, ROTC, field house and stadium. Auxiliary systems include complete intercom, fire alarm, data, A/V, CCTV, security, etc. Auditorium has a full working stage with performance lighting and associated controls, motorized rigging and complete A/V systems. Site lighting and lighting of seven sports fields are included.

Golden Peanut

CECE, Inc. recently completed the new Pelletmill Project at the Golden Peanut Company Hull and Fiber Plant in Headland, AL.  The scope of the project was to upgrade two  existing dual 200HP pelletmills with two single 500HP pelletmills.  This project consisted of furnishing and installing:

·         two 12,470 volt primary feeders

·          two 1500 KVA 12,470-480 volt pad-mount transformers

·          two 3000 amp switchboards

·          secondary feeders to all existing plant MCC’s and low voltage distribution

·          two new 500 HP soft-starts,

·         two new 500HP pelletmill motors.

·         New PLC to monitor the pelletmill motors

·         This plant is a Class II, Div 1 hazardous location.

Kumho Tire

Consolidated Electrical Contractors & Engineers has been awarded the Electrical Distribution Portion for the 1.3 Million square foot Kumho Tire Plant in Macon, Ga., which will produce up to 10 million tires per year for the North America market. Electrical Distribution Portion consist of one 13.6 KV substations, five 7.2KV substations and numerous 480V panelborads to facilitate plant operations.

The first stage of the Majestic Beach Towers Resort consists of 329 gulf front units spread over 23 floors with 9 different unit layouts. The first floor facilities include market quarter with on site movie rental, game room, indoor pool, pool bar, outdoor pool, 3 boardwalks to beach as well as a Porte-Cochere access to large open registration area & lobby. On the third floor is an air-conditioned highway walkover to the amenities building which features: stadium seating movie theatre, power point presentation room, conference room, private owners lounge, and a 6 story parking garage.

McCreary County KY Federal Prison

 

Design build project to construct a new 1100 man medium security prison and work camp.  The project included furnishing and installing 15KV incoming switchgear with a double loop primary feeder system and isolation switches around the entire facility.  Additionally, we furnished and installed three 2000KW, 15KV emergency generators and the associated 15KV paralleling switchgear.  We also provided and installed the conduit system, copper cables and fiber optic cables throughout the facility for the security, telephone, fire alarm, CCTV and MATV systems.  This project was completed on budget and two months ahead of schedule.

McLane Distribution Center

 

This 250,000 square foot facility consists of frozen goods, refrigerated goods, dry goods storage areas as well as a 5,000 square foot office area. Each storage area contains loading stations, conveyer belts, packaging areas and loading decks. The facility also possesses a 10,000 square foot vehicle maintenance shop with vehicle washing building. The electrical installation consists of high bay lighting with Reloc wire system, fire alarm system, control systems, public address system, access control systems and generator.

Panama City - Bay County International Airport Paving and Lighting

Construct a 10,000 ft runway and a 5,000 ft cross-winds runway for the new Panama City/Bay County International Airport. This work consists of installing all runway (144) and taxiway (803) lights, directional signs (112), approach lighting system, power equipment including generator, and the lighting control system. The lighting system was installed utilizing 5KV cable.

Port St. Joe Surface Water Treatment Plant

This project is to build the City of Port St. Joe an new fully automated 6 million gallon per day Surface Water Treatment Plant.  The project includes the installation of complete and operational electrical and process instrumentation systems.  We are responsible for all electrical wiring for two clear wells, four clarifiers, a bulk chemical storage area, a 2 million gallon ground storage tank, and various other support facilities.  The electrical line-up includes a 3000 Amp transfer switch, a 3000 Amp switchboard, two 800 Amp motor control centers to be used to control pumps and motors of the plant.  A complete raceway system for the Data Highway Cables and specialty cable systems are to be installed as well as conduit, wiring, and terminations for variable frequency drives, harmonic filters, transformers and power facto correction capacitors.

Tallahasee Community College Outdoor Lighting

Tallahassee Community College’s Pat Thomas Boulevard; presently is an unlit thoroughfare, connecting Tallahassee Community College’s main campus to Highway 90. This project consist of an 15KV infrastructure power distribution system, including transformers and switching components, which will provide 227/480 power to Metal Haylide lighting apparatuses, supported by steel poles anchored to pre-cast poles bases, evenly spaced along the .75 mile roadway, providing the needed light for student activities to be carry out safely.

Test Operations Control Center

Test Operations and Control Facility controls all manned and unmanned launches for NASA at Kennedy Space Center. We installed a Double-ended 15KV substation with automatic transfer to provide power for the facility. In addition we installed a UPS System complete with battery backup to provide critical power for all computers and other mission-critical controls and power equipment during the launch sequence. We also installed a complete premise wiring system with in the 200,000 square foot facility consisting of high speed data, low speed data, broad band communication system and telephones.

Vehicle Maintenance Instructional Facility

CECE, Inc. did the electrical design for this project.  This project is to provide a Vehicle Maintenance Instruction Facility for the U.S. Army. This project type is to provide facilities for the purpose of large item operation, tracked and wheeled vehicle maintenance instruction and repair hands on training, complete with sensitive item storage, instruction classrooms, and administrative offices. This facility is a training facility housing 500 students and (80) 63A/USMC Instructors, (32) Master Gunner/Tank Commander instructors and (20) BOLC instructors.  CECE, Inc. developed the 30VDC, 3,000A system installed in the facility to allow the tanks to start.

Walton County Justice Facilitty

Furnish and install the electrical system for a new Justice Center, which includes a 34,000 square foot Jail, a 30,000 sq. ft. Administration Building, a 25,000 sq. ft. Sheriff’s Office, as well as, all required site work including site lighting. This is a design/build project and we are working closely with the Architect and the Electrical Engineering firm to ensure the best project for the money. While this project encompasses all types of low-voltage systems, there is a systems contractor on this project. Our responsibilities for the systems are to coordinate with the systems contractor to install the correct size of raceways, boxes, etc. to ensure that the systems function correctly.

Yazoo City Federal Correctional Insitution

Our work included both the Design & Electrical Construction for the entire electrical system and Security Systems including CCTV, MATV, Fire Alarm, Paging, fiber optic interfaces, control consoles and door lock systems to provide housing for 1100 prisoners.  The electrical systems included 15KV Incoming Service Switchgear, 12-15KV Selector Switches & Power Transformers, a double loop 15KV primary distribution system around the site including manholes and concrete encased duct banks.  The outdoor lighting system included furnishing and installing 16-100ft high mast poles and 160-1000 watt fixtures.  This is the first and to date only facility of its type to have had the entire Division 17 Security Systems installed, tested and accepted by the FBOP on or before the scheduled date.
